I would say to the HR Dept. to put their offer in writting and sign and date it.

Then I would file a work comp claim after I hired an Attorney, and copy the HR letter. Hand copy over to attorney, and tell attorney to pursue the issue at hand with employer.

But, trust me, they wont put nothing in writting, which they then can leave you out in the cold at anytime possible.

Yes I have an attorney and told her about this already. It just is really frustrating that after 4 years of being loyal to this company, they are treating me this way. I now know they DO NOT have my best interest in mind. Does anyone know if my employer will get "in trouble" for what they are doing to me?

That all depends on you, not a single other sole can persue the issue. If you contact the State Work Comp Board and told them what the Employer HR Dept is trying to have you do, through them, surly they will get in some trouble.

If you got an attorney? Would attorney persue this for you, don't know till you go that route.
