Tis The Season
[attachment=684][attachment=685]
My neighbor and I went to a Christmas Breakfast this am,Sponsered by our local Historical Society. Trader Steven Mack married Indian Princess Hononega, and together they raised a family and founded our Village back in 1835. The breakfast is an annual thing with a menu from back in those days, Meat pie, Johnny Cakes, Ham, scrambled eggs, cooked apples, assorted breads,cider and coffee. everyone in period costumes, singing of carols etc. It was fun. Here are a few pictures.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |

Oh Tuffy...looks like great fun. Certainly get you in the mood. ..The breakfast plate looked scrumptuous.
God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

RE: Tis The Season
The costumes were great, I didn't get a picture of the young lady that portrayed Princess Hononega, She was cute. and a student from a local collage theater group........The fellow with the red hat, holding the book, was a fantastic singer, sang carols accapelo.
