domestic violence!

RE: domestic violence!
I got an order of protection from the courts with my ex-husband; I learned it needed to be a criminal order so it could be enforced.

I worked as a night waitress in a seafood restaurant, went to work with bruises,
a coffee customer noticed them, (security guard) and helped me complete a police report.

I moved from Washington State to Kansas and guess where he showed up a few months later?

Kansas, my new home.

RE: domestic violence!
My first husband was an abuser and alcoholic. I stayed for 22 frightening years. One night he broke a beautiful rocking chair I had. I picked up a piece of it and just closed my eyes and swung. Last time he ever touched me. I was able to divorce him without fear.

Halftrak.....I will be praying that your daughter is safe, that she can break whatever the cycle is that brings her around these creeps and that she gets rid of this one fast. Keep strong...you might have to hit this one too.......we're all behind you.

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.

RE: domestic violence!
Half, Please Listen to RN, and be Sure the Police Escort You and Your Daughter to the House to get Her Things. When I started having to take Heavier Narcotics due to My Pain, I thought the Meds. were making Me feel Edgy and Mean, and it turns Out My Body Stopped Producing Testosterone. I was Referred to a Specialist, it got so Bad I Lived in My Son's Finished Basement like a Hermit for a Week, I left after Ellen and I got into an Argument and even with My Bad Back, I tore a Door Off of My Den Hinges and All, and through it down the Hall Way!! My Specialist explained that when Guys use Steroids, it does the Same thing the Narcotics did to Me, Stops Testosterone Production, and that's what Causes what They Call "Roid Rage"!! So Please be Very Careful, if He's in Jail He's not getting His Steroids, and this could Happen to Him also, and He can become Uncontrollable!! Prayers are on the Way, and Please be Careful!!Wink

RE: domestic violence!
yep never thought about taking the police with us, good idea, I just want her here as fast as possible, My sister talked to her this morning and she told her when he choked her she started screaming and he told her to shut up or he would finish the job. This guy is nuts, I just hope this scared her enough to stay away from him.he is the type of guy that a restraining order wouldn't stop him anyways.this guy used to be a tribal cop too.At least he didn't have a gun anymore. Thanks you guys for your advice.I will be careful but still want to hit him, give him a taste of pain.
