Please be Careful During This Holiday Shopping Season!!

I just wanted to Post a Note to Remind Us All that with the Unemployment as High as it is, and so Much Unrest in This Country, to be Very Careful while Shopping This Year!! Make Sure and Park in Well Lit Areas, Pepper Spray is Cheap, and those that have a Permit to Carry a Weapon, (Such as Myself) be Prepared!! Criminals aren't the Sharpest Pencils in the Box, but a Person Carrying a Cane, or Moving Slowly and Limping, to the Criminals look like an Easy Mark, and We need to be Prepared to Shock the He** Out of Them!! And for those with Newer Cars and the Remote Door Fobs, don't Forget the Panic Button, that Flashes the Lights and Sounds the Horn!! Have Fun, Be Safe, Spends Lots of Money, and if You have More Money than You Need, just PM Me for My Address, and I'll Make Sure it Goes to Good Use!! (Accessories for My Jeep!!!!) HO,HO,HO, and GOBBLE,GOBBLE!!!

Great advice Still In Limbo!

This is one reason I use my disabled parking tag, I am close to the store and in a well lighted area. This helps ensure my safety when shopping.

Today while in the parking lot and walking into the store I started having severe muscle spasms in the mid back, pain was a 10+.

If I had been attacked there would have been nothing I could have done to defend myself as I was in severe pain.

I did make it inside the store and sat down, after a pain patch and pain meds I walked back to my van and went home.

Wow Bummer, I Hope You are Feeling Better! I can Usually only go in the Store with Ellen for about 1/2 Hour Tops, then it's Back to the Jeep to Wait! I Used to Love to Shop with Her, and go to Flea Markets and Antique Stores, but that's All in the Past Now!! I Hope the Next Time You go Shopping, You can Actually Shop!!

I have the grandkids done so just have to do Bill (that sounded good:shy and we do a polyanna in our family for $$$ reasons and everyone gets too much crap that they really don't need. I like celebrating birthdays because they belong to one person. We put candles on a cake or pie and sing to the baby Jesus every year.

Limbo you are so right about this. I never thought of it but there will be desperate people this year. I give $5 to every Salvation army person I see and hope to God none of them get robbed. Bill and I also used to love large flea markets. Neither of us can walk too long now.
