Carol, My suggestion would be to start a new thread addressing this issue , so it dosen't get lost here, and I would be willing to help in any way that would benifit the IW of this country.

One of the issues I have also in the employers keeping the employee in the dark about WC rules, who to file a claim with, who files the claim, etc, some are good about addressing these issues but others are not and I think there should be a state book or a law that informs the employee what steps to take,etc as many do not even know what to do first or who to go to for answers. I as many were in the dark untill I found this forum, By then it was too late to file a claim on my initial injury, so when it came time for an attorney for my claim I was SOL except for my related injury, if that makes sense.

I also think this is a good topic that needs to be addressed at the government level. What about the fact that some state web sites don't tell you hardly anything about wc even though that is what they are there for?
