RE: We Did It!
Thank you everyone, I had one of those phone calls today.

A parent of a young man that attends the same school my children do. The parent was looking for attendent care and respite help for their teenage son.

Such a sad story, this young man, an honor student was swinging on a rope over a creek bed this summer when the rope broke.

This teenager is now in a wheelchair, the parents are exhausted and badly need help caring for their son. I was able to give this family resource information and contact names but the sad thing is the father makes to much money for the family to receive assistance. Once this teen turns 18 he can apply for assistance as an adult, only that is 8 months away.

I did offer a medical grant to use for respite care thru the non-profit I volunteer with.

These stories break my heart.

RE: We Did It!
Oh Bummer and there you were so happy and now this. It is so hard when you accomplish something and then another hill comes into view which you have to climb. You seem like the type of person who hurts so bad when you have no resources to help people with their problems with. Hopefully the grant will help these folks.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!
