I am a industrial machine repairman who lives in Michigan. The physician told me, and put it in writing , that I cannot return to an industrial environment.I have to work at a "sedentary clean air environment" for the rest of my life. This is so confusing. I was fine, athletic, played softball, coached little league.BY apr 09 I was dependant on high doses of steroids to breathe, Now seven months later I walk up the stairs and my chest tightens and i wheeze, but I dont have to stop and take a breathing treatment at least.I have to use rescue inhalers everyday. When I coach little league now I can t run the bases with the kids or I have to run to my inhaler. This is just maddening.

You cannot return to a Industrial job but you seem to be saying he released you to sedentary work. If you are able to do any type of gainful employment, SSDI will nor approve you by there rules. If you were above 50, It would be easier for you.

WC is not in the business of getting you health back to pre-injury status; All they want is for you to be released at some level anfd that seems to be sedentary by what you stated above.

Did they offer you Vocational Rehab if your state offers it?

Unless you can bring a lawsuit against this company I believe you have to seek other employment as the Doctor said.

Most,IW's feel this WC system is all wrong.

You have lost your WC pay. WC IC believes you are ready to find work at a sedentary level. Please do not go broke waiting on WC to "pony up" pay because you will lose. I am just trying to be honest with you.

I really do not know what you are expecting or what do you want? I hate you are going thru all your troubles but life must go on.
