RE: Is this really how I'm suppose to be treated??
I just finished the online application for SSDI. Thanks for telling me about that. I thought SS was for elderly people so thank you. I have a court date nov 19 with workers comp.My attorney told me that it is just a hearing to see what progress has been made and doesn't know if I need to be there. Does that sound right?Should I tell my lawyer that I am contacting my state rep and see if he says if I should? This is the first lawyer I have ever dealt with. It's a bit intimidating. what kind of questions should I be asking him.
FREEBIRD-I dont know if anyone else has been diagnosed with pulminary problems. There was no daily monitoring of the plant.Definiatly nothing called CEMS I worked directly for the owner and never saw or was told about any monitoring or that the cobalt and tungsten could be the reason for my breathing problems. My future is good. When I was first diagnosed in april 09 my lung capacity was 48% and I was on steroids. In september it up to 60% and I had been out of the plant for 5 months. The specialist says I will have interstitial lung disease, Copd, asthma, and I have a section of scarring on my lungs the rest of my life, but luckily I got out of there before it killed me.I went to the doctor that w/c told me to in August but have not received anything from him. I dont know what MMI is.I beleive the dispute is whether the plant caused this illness. Thanks again for helping me here cause like I said I have never been through anything like this and have noone I can lean on.
