Wi ppd question
When I was injured I had multi injuries and 2 seperate ratings were given. I was paid ppd amounts for that allready.. I still have hip/pelvis/SI fused... I seen surgeon today for hip pain but turned out the reconstruction to socket and pelvis was fine.. After visit the ncm was asking did he give me a rating and I said no... She went on telling me she will get the rating and give it to the adjuster and then they will just start paying me monthly like they did before..
Well my question is this thats fine and dandy but what if I wanted to argue or dispute the rating/ratings.? Is this my final settlement ?. I have been back to work since dec 2008 full time, I do have restrictions but nothing that pretains to the job I do.. Can they do this without going before a judge and what about future medical needs as I go to a pain clinic and getting injections seems to be monthly and other health issues due to the injury.... I'm just confused as my lawyer says I'm entitled for alot more.. I have never signed anything as a settlement and not even the first 10 months of ppd, they just started sending the funds.... |

RE: Wi ppd question
Hi bronco I do not believe this is the final settlement and the rating war can either be settled by ur laywer and theres or the judge can make the final decision. The future medical needs is out the same either the lawyers can work it out or a judge will and ur are intitled to a lot more but getting it is tough and I for one hope you do get it as i did not and need work do and cant get it so kick there buts and if you truest ur lawyer follow him closely.
Each day is not a rite,it's a given. |

RE: Wi ppd question
Its like this, WC/ncm/adjuster does not know I have obtained a lawyer. I signed on with him in feb 2008, I have had no problems with coverage or ttd, he wants it this way so we can keep the airways open more less because once they know there is no more talking and they start playing games... When I was given ppd on 2 injuries lawyer looked at everything and said thats a drop in the bucket compared to what I will get.. He said he dont want anything from that for he said " when its time to settle he will take his 20%.. So I'm hoping this is not all I am entitled to, I know they dont pay for pain & suffering but even though I can perform my job ( besides the pain getting worse ) there is so much that I can not do anymore and If I went else where for employment no one would hire me... I cant sit/stand/ for more then 15 to 20 mins, twist/squat/ bend kills me and after a few times doing it pain levels shoot the roof... I can no longer walk down stairs where my sons room is. I should say I can but pay for it the next few days..
What is the normal routine in wi for the way it supposed to work...? |
