question about cervical MRI
hello everyone. Report I rec'd stated: !) C2-3 shows minor degree of left-sided disc bulge or left-sided uncovertebral joint hypertrophy. There is left-sided thecal sac encroachment. 2) c3-4 shows mild broadbase disc bulge that is slightly eccentric to the left. 3) C4-5 shows mild degree of disc bulge with bilateral uncovertebral joint hypertrophy. 4) C5-6 : disc unremarkable. 5) c6-7: disc unremarkable. It didn't state anything about nerves being compressed. I only rec'd an typed report. Has anyone had anything close to this? With no type of treatment so far, I truly believe that my condition has gotten worser. I am still being denied benefits(both med. and financial) My lawyer seems to be slacking on his action. From your experience, what should I do? Where should should I stand on my issues? Ple respond with your experience. Thanks. In La[/align]

RE: question about cervical MRI
diagnostic tests especially radiology by themselves will not confirm that someone is in pain and what's the cause.
they are findings that have to be corrollated with other signs and symptoms and that will allow a physician to form an opinon.
you need a medical opinion with findings and evidence to support determinination of work injury and need for benefits.
you need to take your evidence to the comp court and get a legal decision supporting the payment of benefits.
many states have a procedure for scheduling court dates and prioritizing those who are without treatment.
after 37 posts you should have your state put in your user profile.

we can offer more detailed help if we know your state.

RE: question about cervical MRI
Thanks 1171. I have try without asking how to make changes to my profile. So now I'm asking, how do i make changes to my profile? How do I mention to my lawyer to get me to an early appearance with the court considering that no treatment or weekly payment are not being rec'd by me? I am willing to learn more about being proactive in this crap of W/C. Once again, sorry about the profile. I did input La.(Louisiana) in the post.

if you don't think your atty is active enough on your case you should shop around.
lawyering is a business and some are more eager then others

RE: question about cervical MRI
Thanks 1171. Made changes to profile. It was easier than expected. 1)my first lesson for today. if i don't know something. if i don't ask, i will never know anything. with the right tools and equipment, and know how, almost anything can be accomplished. 2) I email lawyer yesterday. ask for a copy of contract to be mail to me. I will make copy of all document in my possession(i have everything from day one) and then i will start looking for an aggressive player to work for me. By the way, last week i ask my lawyer do him and other side lawyer let each other know what type of hand they are each dealing with. He started laughing. How is that for a slapp in the face. So, I'm asking how should I approach this task? any input is welcome. thanks

get some names from the link I posted. if they are close by, stop in and ask some questions
here is a link to how to search for an atty
http://research.lawyers.com/Replace-a-Lawyer.html

another way is to go to the comp court and hang around the cafeteria, waiting room, etc. most are very good about giving you their business card. you might get a better idea of who the regulars might be. each state has a different setup and I'm not sure how yours is.

RE: question about cervical MRI
I'm in the middle of copying now. I actually sign the lawyer on back in 1-09. I lived about 6 blocks from W/C court. Can't hang around. Police security. They have guns that shoots big bullits. All it would for me to go there and have one of those nerves shocking moment in there and have one of those ladies see me. And it would be -shoot first and ask question later- But then, i would be rid of the pain and suffering. I will check out the link for the how to. Thanks, will be back off and on.
