hi all who have read my posts..was just curious how the oklahoma laws work i may be nearing the end of my comp case physical therapy just ended and im fealing about as good as i think i will which is no where near 100%..as some of you know i had 2 ruptured disks and have had 4 epi's 1 discogram and a 2 level fusion..do any of you know if oklahoma law has a set disability rating for a fusion and how do they calculate how much more disability goes into that number..just curious thank you all for reading and replying

workers comp in oklahoma requires that a physician provide a rating of the permanent impairment.
one of the most common methods is to use the AMA guide to rating impairments.
the physician sends the rating to the carrier and the work comp board; who in turn issue a disability rating and a calculation of additional benefits.
you need to talk to your doctor about a rating.
