Jen wish we could have helped you more. I did post a couple court doc for you to read, and yes, the rating I seen was very low also, like 0% to 4%, or 3% to 7%, really not alot. You can reference them though, as those reports are quoting from said AMA Guidelines.

Yep, I'm having a look at those court documents now, thanks.

And don't worry, you did help a lot. There aren't even any cases in my state for such a low injury, so I couldn't even do a comparison. Most injuries that small are settled out of court, and there is no database for settled cases. There aren't any reported cases for an injury as minor as 2 fractured ribs, nor for any other minor injuries given an ISV of 4 or less. So yeah, that's why I couldn't simply refer to the common law, and needed some sort of source to quote that she really doesn't have a chance.

Let me know Jen, what I did was a search for 9AMA guidelines for 2 broken ribs) and the court cases were coming up. I'm sure there are pages of them.

Oh, there are cases in other jurisdictions, just not mine. And I can't use them as authority if they're not for my jurisdiction. But yes, I can use the AMA information from them, so thanks!
