In Kansas $125,000. is the max and only the totally physically disabled in a wheel chair might receive that amount.

My sister received $100,00. for a shoulder/elbow carpal tunnel injury.

As in other states there is no money for pain & suffering.

My first offer was $10,000. That was before I had my second surgery which was an Anterior/Posterior Fusion from L4-S1 with Instrumentation followed by 7 months of PT. I am now in Pain management for life on morphine and several other drugs. My final settlement was $222,000.00 and my MSA was for $227,500.00 in a structured annuity payable over my life.

mines was 6,000 I almost took it due to the fat I'm tire of suffering me and my babies. I went all the way to the settlement and got there and told them to take it to trial losing all those rights i just couldn't give up that easily i now have Arthur and 3 bulging and flattened disk and tendinitis DDD and numbness and tingles down my legs I'm 25 and love my heels now i cant wear them no longer than 1 hour. that was in Sept now its a hearing set for Dec. hope it goes well!!!! i couldnt settle for that change i owe that to bills.

My attorney received an offer today on the auto accident.

I received a cervical injury, 3 disc involved.

The insurance company offered $8,500.

Question. Do you think this is reasonable. For an auto accident? How about if this was for an on-the-job injury? How about for future problems for this injury? Reason I ask is because, my dx by dr. says cervical strain. But diagnostis test shows 3-disc bulge with spondylosis. Which involves both arms nerve entrapment. And it possible can be trace to involve my lower extremities. I can't see an offer that low to be even considered. How can a 150# man take down an 2000# bull ? Control the neck, control the bull!

The auto accident isn't work comp related, it happened 2 yrs after the work comp injury. Different laws apply.

The work comp injury is to different areas of the body.

I refuse to settle for $8,500. and I have to repay Medicad for what they have paid on the cervical injury out of the settlement.

Attorney says there is no wage loss because I am not working.
