A single payer, government run system will not bring competition. A government provided public option will not bring competition. The free market system collapses once governments start taking control of it.

If a company can't make a profit then why would they stay in business? Once the government takes over a service and drives the competitors out of business then who is left to compete?

Let the government take control of health care and then you'll have no choice. You will pay the premiums they dictate. You will receive the services they allow.

Too many of you are failing to see the big picture. Just like the crabs that keep pulling each other back into the pot.
