Not really BBBB. We are constituants, who authorizes another to act in our behalf, as a voter in a district represented by an elected official.

A government is the body within an organization that has the authority to make and enforce rules, laws and regulations

I don't like the idea of the government taking over healthcare. I do believe they need to help fix the problems of healthcare by regulating the insurance companies.

I have worked fulltime since I was 17, and had a company paid health plan as part of my employee benefits. When I was 26, after the birth of my 2nd son, I quit my job, gave up my health insurance, and my husband and I paid out of pocket for everything up until the time I went back to work fulltime again when my kids entered Jr. High School. We paid for doctors, dentists, glasses for both of them, and prayed that nothing serious would happen to anyone of us. We did pay for a catastrophic health plan, and that is all we could afford at the time.

I now have a healthplan included with my retirement, but I do pay out of pocket quite a bit for it. I worked hard for that benefit.

I'm not complaining, just explaining that we do for ourselves and don't need the government coming in and interfereing.

Programs to assist the very needy are already in place.


P.S. to fritos: Will you please go into the title of this thread you started and correct the spelling of the word "healthcare". Looking at it from the outside makes you look a little bit illiterit starting such an important thread and not even spelling the main topic correctly. Thank you!
