My wc judge has filed a claim for wc
I learned from the attorney today that my wc judge has filed a wc claim for carpal tunnel and knee injury.

The knee injury was related to use of the stairs in the dept of labor building where court is held.

This judge has been out on medical leave this summer due to a knee replacement and is now back at work.

I told the attorney maybe this will increase the judge's compassion for injured workers.

Just thought I would share.

RE: My wc judge has filed a claim for wc
How ironic, but my friend it's not more compassion I want from her. It's order and less time on her decisions. It's amazing that the judge that took over for her ruled n 30 days as he promised, this judge takes an average of 4 months if not longer. The worst work comp judge in the state but she retains her seat.
If she was taking the stairs to control weight it didn't work.
We can all pray she's come back improved, better, faster, more competient.

RE: My wc judge has filed a claim for wc
The attorney said she is already back at work.

We are trying to get a decision on my claim and at this point the attorney dosen't know which judge is to make the decision, both have been involved.

He sent a letter to the replacement judge asking if he will be making the decision.
No response was received and as of yesterday a 2nd letter was sent.

So at this point it is the judges holding up things.

I surely hope that the judges' motion is a result of an actual fall or such and not the basic life activity of walking up steps.

There's Nothing like a " real experience " to identify w/ empathy.
Good luck, Lilly

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!

A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless!

Don't know Cycler, the insurance company denied the claim.

The doctor said it wasn't work related.
