Denzel Washington in town near us

I keep forgetting to tell you guys about this. If you remember back a couple of years ago I mentioned that a train derailed and dumped thousands of gallons of some toxic material into our main river down the road. It killed up to a million fish and other aquatic wildlife. Well they are now filming a movie in this town, population approximately 5,000 people. This is the town where Dave gets his PT and today they are going to actually blow a train up right in town. I believe the name of the movie is going to be Unstoppable and stars Denzel Washington. They have everything booked up around here and many friends of my nephew who lives down there are getting paid big bucks for doing basically nothing. His friend is a stand in for the movie and another of his friends only has to let them place a camera on his property every day and he is paid $500.00 per day for this. Another one can watch the entire thing from his front porch. They said the other day a helicopter flew in over the train maybe about a foot above it. Of course they are keeping Denzel under heavy guard so people have only occasionally gotten a quick glimpse of him. I think I'll start to go to PT with Dave HA HA. Maybe I will get to see Denzel walking down the street. Backache

That is exciting to hear. We had that in my town when they filmed In The Electric Mist. Tommy Lee Jones was all over our city. In fact they used one of my friends homes to film one of the scenes inside. Alot of excitment in this area while this was taking place. Try to catch you a pic. God Bless!

I keep telling my nephew if he sees Denzel he better get a pic of him. It is actually in the town where I worked when I was hurt. His friend that was a stand in wasn't told what he had to do. They made a mark on the cement and told him to stand there and not move a muscle. They didn't want him to put his arms out or anything. All of a sudden a car came careening around the corner and missed him by about 6 inches. He said they didn't have to worry about him moving because he was frozen to the spot.

The informant that is out right now was filmed around here last year. Matt Damon is the main star. Most if the time was spent about 10 blocks from my house with one part shot across the street from my house. MY house maybe in the shot, I've not talk with anybody that has seen it and I can afford to go to the movies so I will have to wait for it on DVD. Funny they talked about how the movie was sold out when it opened but I've not talk to one person that has seen it.

Hey guys, remember the movie twister, some of the scenes were filmed in the town I used to live in, my 2 older girls found out where helen hunt was staying and went up to the house to take her flowers and a maid answered the door,that's about as close to her that they got.With all these crazy stalkers lately, I can understand all the protection they give all those stars.

I was in Vegas the year they had the grand opening for the Bellagio, Was walking through the casino with my friend, Looked up and there was Kevin Costner. we could have bumped elbows, I just about melted as he is one of my favorite actors.

Good luck seeing Denzel, He is another of my favorites.......... Have seen most of his movies.
