Is there any way to treat bone spurs without surgery? |

A Nerusurgeon can remove most spurs through simple means of a Scope, depending on where their located.

RE: Settlement offer on the auto
Since I was told there was no surgery for my neck that didn't stand a chance to make it worse I found relief with a chiropractor. I don;t know if realigning my cervical spine he moved the spurs off of the nerves, or what but I have had the most relief from him and a good massage to loosen the Trap muscles which everyone with a bad neck slenches really tight.

Option #1, you buy a Pillow traction unit:
http://www.wellsphere.com/back-neck-pain...pine/14343 Option #2 Minor, very minor surgery: Endoscopy should be carefully performed to rule out additional pathology in such patients. Medical treatment preferably with liquid forms of NSAIDs and diet may cause satisfactory improvement. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob...6b797773fc Option #3 is plenty of exercises, liguid NSAIDS, and Diet. Option #4, see your treating speciaclist, and always take your medications as they are Prescribed, so your body can get use to them, and your fuctions become better. Bummer, I recently learned something. You once talked about that pain in the foot and such, I've been getting it. And guess what, it is coming from the nerves in the Knee area. Just thought I let you know, I didn't forget.

RE: Settlement offer on the auto
Wow, thank you everyone.
The bone spurs that are causing problems are at C-4 & C-6, with right sided protrusion of C-5. I did see the PCP today and we talked about options. I told him that I try & use the pain patches, tens unit, & Loratab as a last result. If the tens unit dosen't work then it is nap time and pain meds. I have selected to focus more on the hands right now, but do see the doctor in 3 weeks on the neck. I am having major problems with the right hand. Very intense burning & problems holding onto things. Not good, since I hold the cane in this hand. I so have to wonder if the increased problems are due to the neck? The doctor told me today that I need another NCT. Because of the delays with wc I've had to put treatment for the hand on hold. Foundout yesterday I have a hearing Tuesday on the hand & back. I have kept my attorney informed about the problems I am having with the hand. And I am typing this with one hand, may have lots of mistake. |

Bad Boy
I will check into that. I now wear a foot/ankle brace and sometimes a knee brace. |
