Dinner Tonight
I am attempting to make frijoles for dinner tonight. I have the beans made and sitting in the pot. It's been at least 10 years since I've made homemade burritos and the last time I did, I mashed the beans in LARD. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can use to mash the beans and still have them taste good?
Thanks! Let Go, and Let God...... |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Dinner Tonight
Oh, you guys are no help! LOL!!!!!
I've been in the big city all afternoon at a medical appt. Actually psycho-therapy. Dr. wants to step up our meetings so it will be once a week for awhile. ![]() ![]() OK, I'v fried a whole pound of bacon, very crispy, and saved the grease to mash the beans in. Thanks Jayne, I did remember that I've used a potatoe masher iin the past. Then I will crumble up the bacon and add it. I stopped at store and got some mexican cheese blend, and some salsa. Oh, my mouth is watering and I'm so hungry. All I had today was a slimfast for breakfast. I have to have some protein in the a.m. to get myself going. Hope everyone enjoys dinner tonight!
