yes new york requires interest on comp court awards.

so if i had all 3 judges affirm my original decision that was in my favor then they cant even appeal agian right?

that's not how i understand it; the Board is different then the appellate division
either party can always take it to the appeallate division of the supreme court.
you are only entitled to a FULL BOARD review if there is a split on the panel.
whether they appeal or not they should be paying.

thank you for that link but im having trouble using it i dont see where i find my case? and im glad to hear im not the only one having a hell of a time with liberty mutual well im not glad im sorry for you too good luck ill keep ya posted. so it does sound like i should have my check this week even if they appeal ?

yup. the mail is not that late even if they posted it the 14th.
there are links to each of the 4 appellate district's calendars. i believe it has each weeks decisions as well as those scheduled in upcoming weeks. which district are you in?

well i know they had 10 days fron sept 3rd so counting weekends and holidays that would make the 18th the last day they could post it,and know liberty mutual the waited till the last posible day.im not sure about what district im in i live in ny in renslear county

not to bust your bubble Blake but its normally 10 working days...even so it should have been there by now.....I think I would take my happy fanny down and sit in lawyers office until he did something about my check it is after all his job.....

ok i just got a letter in the mail from my lawyer.its a memorandum. stating my lawyer says i have a moderate permanent partial disability and states they want my compensation to start as of 2/3/09 and to continue at that rate. then goes on to state what they want for their fee based on theclassifaction of a permanent partial disability. so does this mean my compensation is deff coming? and they asked for a rather large sum the lawyer did never have paid that much to them must mean they know im getting a good chunk of change. and i dont think it would be here yet we moved and i have been getting my mail forwarded so i bet its tommarow. even if 10 working days from the 3rd makes it friday
