all tears gone, all hopes are gone, what can I say now..

Here is the scoop. My life is a roller coaster and one I hope to get off of soon. Last night did not end. We had to go to a hotel here in NJ and spend the night and then come back to the apartment and complete the cleaning etc. then we left around noon. ok..now all the troubles are over until I get to Roseburg. Now I can relax. WRONG. We got about 10 miles and our trailer hitch broke and it is laying on the ground. Mom and I have been on the road until my daughter just came and got us about 30 minutes ago since 1 pm. Del and My dad are trying to find another trailer and figure out how they are going to get my stuff our of the old trailer into the new. We bought this one off of craigs list, trying to save a dime. Dad always has trailers and he thought this one looked sound so we spend 600.00 and now that is gone because this trailer tear apart at the hitch. It looks like from below that the weilding on it was bad. The worst part is I was suppose to meet up with sweet tooth and jayne in Tulsa tommorrow at noon...well I am sorry ladies but that is not going to happen. I don't have my phone to call you but we can't possible leave tonight as they are still trying to get a trailer and then they have to unload this 10' trailer and reload it again and by themselves ... I have to go..jayne as soon as I get a phone I will call you. Love Carol

it was a last minute thing....Sweet and I needed to hug and see for ourselfs Red was ok.....Sweet was doing a anniversary trip down this way and to bless a new church in Okla....last minute things are sometimes the easiest.....took 5 days to get this together.....and have changed the plans 4 times...first we were gonna try and meet in salina kansas then no Okla city then no Tulsa and now the dates are changed....couldnt give a firm date because Red wasnt sure when she would get here.....we will be just sitting at the hotel and talking no plans to even leave the hotel...cept maybe to get a burger....all 3 of us are on very tight budgets so no fancy tours,hotels or eating places....Sweet and skeeter is sleeping in our camper tonight....and will again at the end of their visit.....

Next time you are planning (even last minute) a get-together, let me know. It is much easier and cheaper to fly out of here, than to drive. I'm not going to Tulsa because I have at least one surgical procedure next week, but I just checked on Priceline and I could have gotten a flight plus hotel (with breakfast) for 7 nights for $518 total. Even if I was on my own for part of the time, it would have been fun to take in the sights. I never mind being alone anymore. OK, next time!

Chris Chris if you truly mean that I will be sure and let you know......Sweet and her Honey was coming to Okla to dedicate a church....was supposed to be here the 13th then the church didnt get finished in time and we got this chance to meet up with Red and we took it...I am planning on going back to pensacola next spring break,but I go on a shoestring and stay on the navel station and cook all our meals....it is the only way we can afford to do it....not to mention I just cant walk far anymore and am still to proud to go to a wheelchair.......
