RE: not too sure about all of this......
Hi, I'm from Pa. and Disabled due to My Lower Back, and S1 Nerve Root Injuries. If both of Her S1 Nerve Roots are Impinged, they need to be Released, to Allow Healing, and the Surgery will do that, They will Probably Talk to You about a Microdiscectomy/Laminectomy, or Possibly a Fusion with Hardware. Just Please be Sure and get a Second Opinion Before Surgery, just to be Safe, a Lower Back Injury is Debilitating, I was 42 and in the Prime of My Life, and Cut down due to a Crushed Nerve Root that Encapsulated in Scar Tissue, and Remains Crushed for Life!! As far as Legal Issues, I'll Leave that to Others to give Their Opinion, but Please get a Second Opinion before any Surgery, She's much too Young to Spend Life with Chronic Back Pain, and Hopefully All will go Well, and She will be Fine!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.
