settlement hearing
I do not like going to court but the hearing is set for next week, My lawyer did not contact me nor update me with anything , I guess will just meet there. What should I expect? lower back pain with tail bone dislocation and a leg pain and occasional spasm. I have been released to work. My FCE = light work but released for full duty. I am from Maryland(the accident was a year and half ago) Any idea , suggestions , prayer ALL IS WELCOMED!

RE: settlement hearing
I'm not sure what the issues are.
If it's about entitlement to temporary partial benefits you may have to testify about your job duties.

RE: settlement hearing
Don't get too freaked out. WC court is different than any other court. It is more informal. Both attorneys, maybe your claims adjuster, you, and the WC Judge. Just be yourself and answer honesly, and "briefly". Your attorney will probably talk to you for 15-30 mins. in the hallway before the hearing.

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: settlement hearing
It is about my impairment. I have been rated differently by all doctors involved from 50%-75%

RE: settlement hearing
you'll probably be asked to testify about your symptoms and activities.
if that's the only issue it's likely to be settled in the hallway on the way into the hearing.
