notice of hearing
I have received a notice of hearing from california workers comp. appeals board; i was to have back surgery but wc denied the hospital where it was supposed to take place ,so now I get this notice; anyone has any Idea what this is all about?Iam currently receiving wc benefits fron the carrier,,letter says it is a EXPEDITED HEARING?

either you or the carrier requested a hearing before the comp court.
sounds like your atty wants to get the denied treatment reviewed by a comp judge. just guessing of course since you didn't say whether you had an atty or had discussed it with them .... |

Could be that the hospital is not in your MPN (Medical Provider Network).

yup. they really aren't to to help with information or explanations. It's a volume business and they put all their time in the settlement process.
some wouldn't have bothered to fight the medical issue. it's usually up to the enterprising worker to find their own information. glad I could help. |
