Work Comp Settlement Kansas?
Hi,

I tore my distal Bicep tendon on the job site, work comp paid for hospital bills and Weekly pay but my question is should there be some sort of settlement after my last Dr appointment? I have heard there should be depending on what level of functionality of the arm is given by the Dr. I am back to work full time but have pain in opposite wrist as well as bicep and wrist.

Thanks,

Jay

RE: Work Comp Settlement Kansas?
you need to have the condition checked out before considering a signoff on benefits.
more information on impairment disability here

or you can contact the ombudsman

RE: Work Comp Settlement Kansas?
Welcome to the forum!

I'm also from Kansas, near the Wichita area.

You will need to be found at MMI, Kansas uses the 4th addition of the AMA guidelines.

The Kansas Department of Labor web site is not very user friendly, I have found the ombudsman for Kansas to be very helpful. It you have an attorney you will need to talk to your attorney not the ombudsman.
