RE: Little rant here, and alittle long
Manley and others: Here is a site you can get your denied prescription meds sent to you directly at no cost: http://www.injuredrx.com/

Yes, the system stinks. But as Still pointed out, I have to agree that the system as it is, is better than nothing at all. A high percentage of Injured Workers are taken care of and right back to work without a hitch.

It should also be pointed out that less than 2% of all WC FRAUD is from Injured Workers. The majority comes from Insurance Companies, Employers, and Doctors. Amazingly enough though, the highest percentage of investigation is done on the Injured Workers.

Remember, if a procuredue is denied by the WC insurance company, and you are fortunate enough to have private insurance, you are free to go thru them. I like to picture in my mind that when all is settled in my case, the insurance companies duking it out, and my WC IC feeling the pain thru his pocket book. [Image: boxing_smiley_animated_1.gif]

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: Little rant here, and alittle long
Mine started out under WC but when my PM doc wanted to the SCS they denied everything after that. So for awhile both WC and my insurance denied everything, took getting my lawyer to make a few calls and the private has been paying. It has been awarded back under WC but employer appealed so it's still under private. I didn't know the % of the other stuff but it sounds about right that doctors and other companies are the bigger cheats in the deal. But then it just goes back to the guy that is injured is the one being screwed with the most.
