Thank you all for the wonderful wishes. But this is a day that I can easily do without. Haven't slept in over 48 hours, and get to spend the day at the other house working. I've already done all of the housework that I can do here for the moment, but will end up getting out the vacuum when I get back home tonight, as well as emptying the dishwasher and having to fix supper. No special plans.. so just another day in my life.

Prayers are being said for your friends as well as for yourself. Although not easy, at least you know that he is being cared for the best that there is, and will make his passing easier for him. God Bless you all and keep you in his arms.

Good Lord, it's no wonder that you are having the problems with your health. I never expected to hear anything like that about Del. But, I agree with others here. You are one very strong lady and we are all here for you. Take the time that you need to find yourself again and where you need to be to make it through this trying time.

As several others have said .. I too have been in abusive relationships. My first marriage it was basically emotional and mental abuse. My second, contained all three. Mental, physical and emotional. I realized less than a year into that marriage that it was a mistake, but he had me so browbeaten that I didn't know where to turn and was afraid to leave. It was only after a physical confrontation while my oldest son was living with me that I saw the light, got a restraining order and filed for divorce (after 5 years of the abouse). I was declared a pauper by the state of Nevada at that time, but because of all that was going on, couldn't get any assistance from the state and had no income of my own. This was during the settlement phase of my first work comp injury, and it didn't take long for the money I received to be spent. But with the help of my son, and a good friend, I was able to persevere till I found a new job 6 months later and finally started getting back on my feet.

We are all here for you.. and you know that you are in all of our hearts as well as our prayers. You will know when it is time to come back to us. Until then, take your time, rest and recover. It will take time, and some days will be better than others. But there are many here that you can reach out to in the dark moments, and we will be there to get you through.
