Workers' Comp Audit
I was just assigned with an audit project to review our workers' comp process. Here is the brief description of our settings:

We are a California State subsidiary. We have a workers' comp adminstration agency who takes care of claim process for us. However, we have internal process to verify each case before submitting to the agent. Payroll is also processing the related regular leave salary processing. Since we only audit this area in every four to five years, I would like to get inputs on the critical areas that I should pay attention to.

Any commnets are appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: Workers' Comp Audit
you might benefit from an audit the Department of Insurance did of another state agency: CIGA.
there maybe some internal functions you have in common
