 Getting paid
Can someone tell me in West Virginia, when will the workers comp start paying for my days off on comp? They told me after 3 days, but does that mean I will get paid for those 3 days if I am off 4+??

West Virginia pays it's waiting period after 7 days of disability.

you'll have to ask them.
you'll get paid for the 3 day waiting period once you've been off a total of 7 days. if you are only off 6 days you'll get paid for 3; if you are off 7 you'll get paid for all 7. you can read more about comp payments here https://www.brickstreet.com/General/Broc...ochure.pdf |

Do weekends (Saturday and Sundays) count in that time or is it Monday - Friday only? I got hurt at work on Monday 7/27 and hope to go back to work on Tuesday 8/4...Will that be considered 7+ days??

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

comp uses calendar counting as many employers have different work schedules.
