RE: Fraud investigator WHY
Congratulations on your recovery and being clean for the many years you have.
I have a cousin that recently went thru rehab and has been clean for 9 months, I am very proud of him! I am not for sure who is conducting the fraud investigation; goverment, or employer? I wanted to share what hubby & brother experienced with an employee that was hurt on the job. Hubby & his brother are co-owners in a wholesale company. Route drivers are employed to drive specific routes state wide. One day my husband receive a phone call that one of the drivers was in a traffic accident and being transported to the hospital. Hubby immediately went to the scene of the accident got the drivers cell phone and started calling family members while hubby's brother went to the hospital and provided any needed insurance information and stayed with the employee. The employee had critical injuries in this accident. The hospital did test and they came back the employee was using drugs. Our business auto insurance was contacted, as was work comp insurance. Not only were the medical bill not paid by the insurance company but the auto insurance threatened to cancell the policy. Hubby thurned everything over to the attorney and 12 months later things are still a mess. Of course the insurance company started an investigation after the accident. And of course the employee lost his job. I can understand being investigated but you have a proved clean record and things will work out in your favor. |

RE: Fraud investigator WHY
Hello. You are accomplishing something that a great deal of people is working on. Remember "Let go and let GOD". Also, HOW. HONESTY, OPENMINDED, and WILLINESS. I'm working on 2yrs.9mths. and counting one day at a time. I'm also living (parents paid) in an 3/4 phrase recovery facility. Checks stopped in 7-08. No hearing or letter from anyone.Employer wanted me back to work, with no type of medical or PT. Any I was and still am, in pain and discomfort. What started out as cervical strain, bursitis, numbness, weakness, tinglish of upper extremities. Now I'm suffering from Peripheral Polyneuropathy of both upper and lower extremities. People like yourself are look upon by alot of folkes. So keep your head up, and do not be afraid of who you are. I'm in La.

RE: Fraud investigator WHY
Tough one you are.....you obviously Have the strength to hang in there and fight a while longer! So, stick that chin up, breath deep, and stand your ground!
As long as you have medical documentation of your injury, a doctors slip to be off work, and follow any work restrictions to a tee ...investigation or not....you will be fine in the end. Sorry, but your mom should feel bad, possibly it'll help her to refrain from running her mouth the next time. Good Luck, Lilly
Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |
