Manley, there may be a church in your community that will allow the wedding and possibly the reception for you. Call your local ministerial association. Most churches don't allow alcoholic beverages at the reception so that might be a problem. I don't know? Just guessing because at most weddings, even Christian, you will find champagne or an open bar. Usually Catholic churches allow this. I really do feel it will all work out for you and your family. You are in my prayers.

I think pretty much every town has a Veteran's Memorial Building. You might call them as well.

Well just to update this forum the story was on the local 5 o'clock news tonight. Not 10 minutes after it was on a wonderful person called the station and spoke to the reporter and got our phone number and called my wife. She has a wedding design business and is going to plan and pay for the new wedding. She said as she watched the story the lord moved her to do this for us. I'm sure your prayers help this wonderful thing to happen and I want to thank my extended family for it's help. You are all the best in the world!!!!!! God Bless You

Yes this group is so awesome. It can move more then mountains that is for sure. Today the newspaper did a story on it and the local K of C hall called and is giving us the building and all the food free. Along with the staff to serve it. This is going to be a better wedding then we could have planned. Also today another TV station came out to do a story of it. My daughter told them this was because of God and how this lady stated she was moved by God to do this for her. I hope that part will make it on the air. These are the kind of stories that can help get his word out into the world.
Again I can't thank this group enough for the prayers. I check here often and even if I don't reply to a thread I still remember those that need our prayers.
