RE: confused
workers comp is "no fault". No need to assert or prove negligence.
maybe.
depends on if it's permanent. you might need a second medical opinion.
was it rated?
you might be eligible for scheduled loss of use benefits.

RE: confused
I believe you need to see your doctor or a dentist. You could end up with a form of TMJ which could lead to other problems (such as bad headaches) down the road.

RE: confused
Lilly is right. I have TMJ from my accident and although mine is mild compared to some, I get severe headaches sometimes and my jaw makes the "cracking" sound. I also started grinding my teeth at night which causes other pain and dental problems.

RE: confused
while not addressing your question the alignment problem causing the cracking can often be alleviated with splints at night and/or a skilled Osteopath physician or masso-therapist who will get their thumbs in your mouth and physically release, stretch etc etc the TM joint.

Comp will pay and it can't hurt.......

Cycler is right. The splints and the massage did help.
