Badcompany Wrote:Hi DiscDude....I know they use lowdown tactics but how can they justify keeping a helecopter in the air until you come out? (not saying its not happening) you could be inside allday....also what are the odds they get your pic at the same time they rent/use a helecopter when your outside?....its possible but Im doubtful.....they may be getting pics from another area while your looking at the copter.....stay within your limits and you should be fine.

Got it!

RE: Is this legal?
I agree with the rest , stay in your limits, but don't become a hermit (sp). When I was first injured I pretty much stayed in the house because I thought if the insurance co. saw me out and about I would get in some kind of trouble. I started to become depressed, which had never happened to me before. This was as bad if not worse than the back injury. It didn't make sense to me since non strenuous walking (for short distances) seemed to ease my pain somewhat. My lawyer told me the same thing that the others have told them...YOU ARE INJURED NOT DEAD, If they take pics of me I will simply tell the judge that I am trying to increase my strength so that I can get off of WC, which is the truth........Any Judge with common sense should know that people's lives go on even after they are injured....

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!

RE: Is this legal?
I thought you might be a little psycho when I first read your post, but have done some research myself and found the helicopter surveilance is offered by some PI firms. Hah! I can hardly believe they would stoop so low. They must have some reason to go to such extreme.

Have you claimed that you cannot walk? Unless bedridden, you can go out of the house for normal activity such as walking your dog, grocery shopping, medical appts., etc...... Just stay within your medical restrictions like the others have said, and you won't have anything to worry about. Geeeze, a helicopter?

If they deny your claim, you need to ask for a PQME asap. Your denial letter will explain, or you can come back here for more info at that time.

Let Go, and Let God......

What I did do wrong was trust and tell the lady at my job who is the one behind the surveillance (a real witch) when the pain had gone to me feet. After that was when I found out they were following me becuase the next day I spotted them in a white dodge caravan all on my tail.

RE: Is this legal?
They were out there again today. But this time I went a different way and laughed watching them fly the area I normally go.

It is also the time of year that Heli's are used for spotting hidden marijuana growing and one will see many slowly moving about in otherwise odd places at a good altitude since the plants stand out. I don't suppose anyone grows marijuana in the Bay area though...... <g>

I'm sure they are using satellite tracking and predator drones.
'copters, as you've pointed out, are too easily spotted these days.

1171, I am surprised that you did not mention the wiretaps hidden in the trees. Oops.. I wasn't supposed to say anything....

Besides, the dog already works for us.
