My Apologies for My Wording!
It has Come to My Attention that My Thread "WOW, This Site has been Slow Lately" May have been taken in the Wrong Context, and I wanted to Clarify. I think I should have Used Better Wording, I wasn't Implying anything about the Entire "Site", I meant to Say that the Regulars on the "Off Topic" Section haven't been on Much Lately. I was Hoping to get Others to Check in, which Many Did, but then We got Off Topic, and again My Fault, and the Thread was Locked, so it didn't End up at the Top of the Page and give Prospective New Members or Advertisers the Wrong Impression. So to Make things Clear, there is Absolutely Nothing Wrong with this Great Site, or the Great People who Use it!! I have been Dealing with Quite a Few Serious Problems other than My Pain and Injury, and My Pain Levels are through the Roof, and I Fear I may not be Posting Clearly, or when I do it may be a Bit Depressing and not doing what it should be Doing, Helping. So I think I am going to get Myself Together, Pull Up My Boot Straps, and not Post for a while until I Feel I can be of Assistance, Rather than a Downer! Under Normal Circumstances I would have Noticed My Thread Heading was wrong, had it been brought to My Attention Immediately, I would have Changed it Right Away! I will Check My PM's Daily, and when I feel Better and feel Confident that I can Respond in a Better Helping Way, I'll be Back!! Be Well Everyone, and ADMIN. if You would, Please Delete the Thread I Worded wrong, having a Lock on it is Only going to make More Read it, and We don't need that! My Best to You All, and I'll be on to Answer My PM's Daily, so if any New or Past members have a Question, Please Leave me a Message, and I'll be Glad to Reply! Stay the Course, Keep Up the Fight, and don't Forget those 9:00 p.m. Prayers!!

RE: My Apologies for My Wording!
Still I found nothing wrong with your wording and new exactly what you were saying. The off topic section has been very slow of late. I new you were talking about 'this side' and not the other which I never even visit anymore. The reason for that is I have enough on my plate and just don't want to get deep into my WC issues as I have enough to think about right now.
I hope it wasn't admin who was upset by your wording. I didn't read the entire thread so maybe I should do so again but I saw nothing wrong with it. I think you were trying to find out how everyone was and get us going again. No harm no foul in my book but then I'm not the big cheese or even the crumbs anymore so who knows, LOL! You take care of yourself and I hope you get some relief soon sweetie. Hugs, monster Please click the link below to help provide food for homeless animals. RE: My Apologies for My Wording!
Still...I knew what you were saying also. Your wording was clearly understood for what your intent was. I don't know what happened here but it has been a bit slow of late, but not becasue we are not all here... and we all knew you were speaking of the off topic section. The other section is always hopping as there are new people injuried daily. Do not take this to heart... we look forward to your wording as you say... there has been a lot going on for all of us as of recent. We can always count on you to bring us back to the home when we stray away. Red

RE: My Apologies for My Wording!
Still In Limbo I have read & re-read that thread and can't find anything wrong with what you said.
I was one of the last to post on the thread so when I saw the thread was locked I really thought it was something I posted. Thr regulars of this forum have experienced the 'real side" of work comp and perhaps when MY post are written they are not always in a positive manner, may be a bit much for a newbie. I will try to do better. Still In Limbo you are a very valuable member of this forum please take care of yourself. Bummer Knees |

RE: My Apologies for My Wording!
Limbo,
I also read the thread and cannot find a thing wrong with anything that you posted. In fact, it got some real good responses from our group. I guess with it being the summer time people may be busy getting out and about doing things they are not able to do during the colder seasons. I know each one of us hurts like the dickens when we have to endure cold weather. I know I do and I hate that time of the year. Although, I have a pool right here in my back yard, I have yet to feel good enough to get in it. I did just get back a a 2 night girl trip with my sister and a friend. We have reset and relaxation and just did what we felt like doing. I got back yesterday. I figure, lay at my house and suffer or go with sister and friend and suffer in my hotel room......what is the difference? Just being in the company of someone did me good because I sit in my house all day alone. Sweetie gets home, is exhausted from the heat he works in all day building homes, wants his shower, a couple beers, dinner then TV. When he watches TV we do not have conversation and I don't like to watch the NCIS reruns that he watches everynight so I go in the bed around 7pm and watch what I like to watch and fall asleep. I sleep like 45 minutes then wake up and I do this all dang night long everynight dang night. Either suffering with muscles spasams with my legs and feet twisting because they are so bad if I just move one of my toes the wrong way and suffering with back pressure, pain down leg and my hip and groin killing me. So, I seelp a bit, wake up and walk the floors on and off all dang night. I was like that on my trip and my friend heard me all night long and asked, Do you do this all the time? I just yep, every darn night. She said you mean you never get like 6 or 8 hours of straight sleep and I said nope. I just told her this is how life is for me and I just have to accept it. I am quite excited right now as I just read a PM from Red. My sister has a free trip to Atlantic City and she will take no one else with her on the trips except me when she does get them. Therefore, I am so excited that I will get to meet Red and Dell while I am on this trip. How exciting is that? I was able to meet Jayne recently and now I get to meet Red. If there are any others that live near Atlantic City and can joing us for a visit, I would love to see more of you if that would be possible. Please PM me if anyone else is near there and would like to meet up. We will be leaving on July 12th and returning on July15th. More rest and relaxation or whatever we feel like doing. I have never been to Atlantic City so I know I will enjoy the trip as it is a place I have wanted to visit. I want to visit the Taj Mahal.....you know the Donald Trump place.....lol. Limbo, I am so sorry you are suffering the way you are. God, I wish I could take your pain away because I would in a heartbeat. I admire the fight that is in your to continue dealing with all the setbacks you have had with WC and SS. But, we have no choice but to fight. I feel like I feed off of your fighting energy and that is a great thing because it makes me a stronger person. I can't begin to share with you the strength that feeds my body when I read of your battles along with your courage and strength you have. That is so positive for others that read this forum. Reading the ordeals that others are experiencing just enable others on here to find strength mentality and physically to move forward. I know you are waiting as long as you can to have them make that higher adjustment to your pain meds and I understand what and why you are doing that. I have been needing to do an update regarding my back surgery for some time now but I haven't. I am batteling this with WC and would need to explain and ask others of their experience. I have been waiting to post because when Bill became so ill and needed that heart surgery, I felt like my issue is not that important and I needed to concentrate on being there for Jayne and Bill. I felt like this forum needed to be dedicated to their problem and focus needed to be placed on their situation. There situation was life and or possibly death. My concentration and prayers needed to be focused on their needs. Thank God, he always hears the prayers of this forum. I know our prayers as a group are very powerful and as we pray God continues to work his miracles. I don't feel like you need to take a break from posting as your post always makes sense. I am also certain that if your post is not clear, one of us on here would question you about it. Your posts are fine and you do not need to stay away because you feel like you are not being a help to others on this forum. You are always a help to people and many of us would be lost without you and some of the more knowledgeable posters like BadBoy and yourself. Please take care of yourself, tell Ellen hello and God Bless you. Love ya! RE: My Apologies for My Wording!
Ok, folks, this is my fault, for which I apologize. Still did absolutely nothing wrong. He posted a thread called "Wow, this Site has been Very Slow!!". We all knew what he meant, and there was no problem with it. Eventually the thread took on a different dialogue, and it became evident that it was going to continue for a bit.
It did begin to bother me that a thread titled "Wow, this Site has been Very Slow!!" was continually being bumped to the top of the forum, as well as the RSS feeds we carry elsewhere on the site. The title, while completely innocent, could give newcomers (and potential advertisers) the impression that the site itself was extremely slow to respond (bad web server), or that there was not much to see here. Just not a positive impression to those not in the know, particularly since the topic of the thread had shifted to other areas. Now, Still is right. I should have PM'd him and asked to change the title slightly. As it was, it was a busy day and I just made a quick decision to lock the thread, and let it slowly sink down the list (hoping no one would notice, I suppose. No luck there...). Still did nothing wrong, and there was nothing wrong with the title, given the topic he was addressing. Hope that clears things up a bit. |
