Hello / We all must be busy today.
Is it because its summer or do we just find things to do on the weekend. It was a lazy day for me got off work 10am and took a quick nap that turned into 3:00 pm, god was that nice. Some times we just dont know when we need to catch up on sleep. Anything new and exiting going on with anybody..................................

RE: Hello / We all must be busy today.
Hi Bronco

Also a lazy day here spending time with my family.

Friday was the last day for the summer program I coordinate (the program serves children with disabilities) Now that is over my life will slow down.

I still wait the judge's decision (on adding to the claim) the carpal tunnel, back, & right knee. My attorney told me a week ago the decision was in but still he haven't received the judge's order. Very frustrating because last week I was placed at MMI on the knee replacement.

Does anyone know from experience the timeline medical benefits and TTD will start under a judge's order?

Since I am at MMI I need to contact Social Security Administration as I am on SSD.
Don't want to contact them and say I am at MMI and no longer receive TTD and findout I am not when the order comes in.

Hi Bronco... it was a busy day for me, Sunday's usually are, however, I did stop in here once or twice but noticed no one was here. We have all been especially quiet recently. Most likely need something to get us all hopping again... love Red

RE: Hello / We all must be busy today.
I've slept alot in the last 24 hours. I think everything finally caught up with me and my body needed it. The pain level is now a little lower thankfully. Will try and get up early tomorrow before it gets hot and work on the RV roof, I really need to get that done!

RE: Hello / We all must be busy today.
It's been a bad weekend here for me. I was off the pain charts as far as I am concerned. And for the first time ever, soaking in a hot tub did nothing for it. I have taken 4 Equate PM nighttime pain relievers, 4 benadryl and 6 aleve, and here I sit without any sleep in sight.

I am going to be a busy little beaver over the next three days. Have to get all my med records in order so that I can take them to our local SSDI office so that they can copy them, instead of having to send for them. I have to get the AC fixed on my car, not sure if the AC unit is going out, or just needs recharged. Grocery store time to get fixin's for a salad, a loaf of Italian bread as well as a sun dried tomato, basil and oil dipping sauce, sliced cheeses and meats as well as assorted veggies for a tray that we will be taking for our trip to Broken Bow starting the 2nd. Need to get the paperwork in for son so we can work on getting him his permit (In Texas, if you are being taught by a parent, there is a packet you have to get. You have to do 36 hours of classroom training and 14 hours behind the wheel. None of it can be done in less than 20 days, 2 hours max per day. It takes 2-3 weeks to get the packet from Austin).

I am also trying to get ahold of my attorney on my WC case as well. I finally got my claim accepted, once the IR Dr put me at MMI and gave me an 8% as a whole body impairment. But they have totally screwed things up. I keep getting letters that change my IIB's...one saying they paid to much to start with, then that they changed my AWW and that my payments are going to be lower. Then they send one check that says TIB's, another that says IIB's. Each has seperate claim numbers. Some letters come with the original adjustors name, some with a second adjustors name. And I still haven't heard anything on my travel pay.

I know that we are going to have to end up at a BRC, as the AWW they are using is totally wrong. Part of the time that they are using to figure it was while I was out on FMLA and receiving STD at 70% of my wages. When I went on STD, I was only making $8.05 per hour, when I came back, I had gotten a pay raise to $8.30 an hour. In TX if you make under $8.50 an hour, they are supposed to pay out at 75% of your AWW. It's going to take a hearing to get this all straightened out... if and when my attorney returns my call. I have been trying to reach her since the 19th, but she hasn't returned my call. If I don't hear from her by noon tomorrow, I will send her an email. If she still doesn't contact me within 2 hours, I will be firing her, contesting her fees and get the ombudsman to help me with the rest of my claim.

She's not going to get near what she has claimed in fees as it is. Over $5000 and I am only going to get about that much total in IIB's. She can only get 25% of that, so will have to eat a huge chunk. And she can't touch my travel pay, nor sue me for the remainder of her fees. I have a feeling, that is why she is taking her sweet time in contacting me.

Hope y'all had a pleasant weekend. And that tomorrow will be good to y'all.

RE: Hello / We all must be busy today.
UA - IS it possible she is on vacation? Not defending her I just know for a fact many atty's and docs are on vaca this time of year. My atty was last week and my pain management doc leaves this week. Sure hope things get straightened out for you, it sounds like a mess!

Hugs,
monster
