O.K. I think I figured it!!! If you can see a picture, this is Ziggy Zee, a retired race horse. Ziggy came to us from a trainer who sought us out. We told him we were not looking to buy another horse, he said good cause I'm not looking to sell him, I just want a good home for him, he's coming to your farm tommorrow. We had people offer us $5,000 for him within a week of him coming to us, but we are his forever home. Another horse tommorrow!!

O.K., Here is todays critter. This is Allie, my wifes little quarter horse. Problem is I think I like her more than my wife does!!Too bad my feet would hit the ground if I got on her!!

I am so jealous. If I lived near you, I would be at your house every day driving you nuts wanting to ride, no matter how much pain it would brought me. I used to ride horses on the weekend when growing up for up to 8 hours a day. And while stationed in San Diego with the Navy, I would spend weekends in Rosarita, Mexico riding horses on the beach at night. I miss it so much.

Starting tomarrow in Fort Worth, The paint horse association is starting there summer show, My cousin is one of the judges, for the national paint horse association.
Her hubby is a World Bronc riding Champion.
I would love to go and watch..........

I love your horses. I was raised on the race track as my father was a thoroughbred race horse trainer. He use to race his horses at the Fair Grounds Racetrack in New Orleans and during the summer we would travel to another state to race his horses when the meet at Fair Grounds was over. I use to go to the barn at the track with him when I was out of school and clean stalls, clean tack, roll bandages, bath and hot walk the horses. When the stalls were ready to be cleaned my father use to yell, "fresh hot nuggets, gettem while they are hot." I use to LMBO at him when he would start that. I use to love going to the horse races and yell and snap my fingers for my fathers horses to win the race and then go down and take my picture. Oh my, what beautiful memories. Seeing your horses just gave me a stroll down memory lane of the days with my father. He died in Aug. 2000 of lung cancer and I sure do miss him. Thanks for the memories. God Bless you!

I remember meeting your cat, before we left for Florida, he is very gentle and nice.

I love horses, your pictures are great. My Uncle used to raise thoroughbreeds for racing in Hagerstown, Md. He also had some that were pets.

I also remember being young and working at our local state fair and giving little kids pony and horse rides around the ring, the best part was being able to ride the horses all over the fairgrounds after closing, to give them more excercise. Thanks for the memories that your pics brought back. Unfortuantly I can't ride anymore, but at least I can pet them and look at thier beauty.
