anyone wanna trade?

My life is in such turmoil I am willing to trade someone for one peaceful day......Friday my drugstore couldnt get my insurance company to honor my drug insurance and of course I was camping so when my daughter went to pick up my Rx they told her the insurance was playing games..I tried talking to the darn robots on the phone but they couldnt understand...so Mon we went to ftsmith 50 miles away to find out whats going on.....The lady there was nice and said it just fell outa the system(come on boys and girls how does info fall outa the puter) it takes a human to screw it up.....anyway before we left I called the drug store she ran them and they went thru..we started home....Now driving pain and aggervation tend to wear me out so by the time we get home at 2 I am ready to not just fall into bed but under the darn thing.....I get in the door and there is my 4 kids at home with big grins on their faces with look what we did for you Nana as they proudly show off a half bushel of plums they picked off the tree...now you can make jelly......and they have to be done today cuz they are ripe(crap) and then the phone rings the damn cell phone it isnt always good service here at the house its my Mom Jayneeeeeeee call the hospital they are gonna take my leg off(Mom is 82 and doesnt always hear what the Docs say)so I get on the house phone and call her back...the Doc is putting them both in the hospital and of course Mom has em both dying......I talk to the Doc and he says Mom has an infection on her leg(she is diabetic) and he needs to give IV antibiotics and he needs to run some tests on Daddy to find out why he is loosing so much weight and he thought at Daddys age 97 next month it would be easier on him to put him in also so he wouldnt be driving back and forth 3 or 4 times a day....so yes come get your Daddys car so he cant leave till I am ready to let em out......(he really knows my Daddy) so we run into town again and get them admited take Daddys wallet and Mommas purse so my nephews cant get any money from em run by walmart and get sugar and certo and come home by this time my tail is draggin and no way is plums being done.I am having to drive home and the pain is so bad tears are streaming I get home double up on the pain pills and crawl in bed with my Carrie bless her heart rubbing my feet she has been trying to learn foot and hand reflexology and practices on me...Tuesday I crawl outa bed and Bill and I run into town to check on mom and dad took pool sample in as I really need to float...grab groceries come home and start cooking down the plums and Daniel comes running in the house I am sorry I am sorry it was an accident...What was an accident Daniel I am scared and tears are running down his face...the girls wouldnt play with me and I threw a rock at them and missed and broke the window outa the car......you freaking what??????????????? I go out and yep the side window on the van is shattered.....I try and get the kids to tell me what happened and keep the visions of burning them all at the stake outa my head....we start calling and of course the insurance is a 1000 dollar deductable crap why have it? Bill is calling kids are standing around waiting for me to blow and all I smell is plums cooking....I turn them off...I have to deal with these kids of mine find out girls didnt want Daniel with him and when he was told go away they started to laugh cuz he was upset so he picked up a rock and let it fly.....I explain that all thru this process anyone could have put a stop to this the girls could have been nicer to Daniel and certainly not laughed at him cuz he couldnt play with them...and he this is where I really started to shake as I explained to him that that rock took out a window we could replace a window but it could have took an eye out of one of the girls or killed them and he had to get his temper under control...then he got the belt I know some dont believe in whipping a kid but we have been working on this temper of his for over a year and nothing was working so I whipped him....and the all will get payed 3 bucks and hour and will have to work off the price of the window in farm chores our pick not theirs...I then went and made 24 pints of plum jelly and then my oldest daughter called can you take my kids this weekend?Bill fielded that call I fell into bed..thank goodness it was tuesday as the local drive in has their largers burgers on sale for 99 cents Bill went for burgers I went to bed......Now this morning we are still looking for a window I gotta go to the hospital and check on my parents...and then tomorrow is another trip to ft smith for pre op for Bill as Friday he has an angiogram and we hope he doesnt need a stent if all goes well Saturday Connie will bring her kids to us and Sunday Bill and Becca will go to New Mexico to pick up more grands.......still have to plan a family reunion for the 3rd and fix food for over a 100 people and fire works for that night ....the morning of the 4th they all go home thank you Jesus and Undercover and I will get to visit for awhile.And collet a long overdue hug.....then on the 18th of july We will leave for Ga and a long over due hug from a couple sisters of my heart.......I am tired just thinking of all I gotta due this month...pray for me and Limbo if you could see your way to getting pregnant I dont know about Tuffy but I could sure use the management money...see I still have a sense of humor even if it is a bit warped

i think we share the same drama in our lives, only i end up having surgery in the middle of my drama.

all my kids wanted friends to stay the night yesterday, i was the bad person and said no. i don't make sense when taking pain meds.

got home yesterday from the hospital and the pigs were out running around the yard with the kids chasing them taking brooms to their behinds.

people tell us to take it easy and relax but sometimes it isn't in the cards.

Like you's dont have enough to deal with already. Good god, calgon take them away...lol. Jayne sometimes kids need a little whoop @ss once in a while when they get out of line. My father used 1 on me and my brother and sister We turned out fine. But probably most of us on here has got the belt one time or another. And by god we knew it, but we knew not to do it again.
Now time outs are good and work for a little while, while some say take somthing away that they like. Well in my oppinion when do you stop taking?, cause I feel your teaching them a habbit thats going to get there kids in trouble. All of a sudden there taking things from people that they dont like to get even.........

Just my oppinion..--------------I belive a good hand on the hinney works just as well as the belt.............Bronco

Jjayne- sorry you are having such a bad month. Prayers going up for your parents that they have nothing major going on and get to go home soon. Will add extra prayers for Bill. If you need to talk just let me know and I will call.

Jayne usually when I see a lengthy read I skip over it,but I just had to keep reading this one!! It was like the book you can't put down.Sorry for all of the bs your going through.When I was a kid and did something wrong, my mother would take the belt right off of my fathers waist, and if we cried because of that, we would get "I'll give you something to cry about".My mother walked out on us when I was 14, but I still love and respect her. My step-daughter and her husband use the time-out gig and what a joke, they set the timer on the microwave for 3 minutes and the kids can't make a peep untill the bell dings, after that everything is just fine.I agree a sore butt would make them think twice.Hope you get to float for a while.

Jam came out great......Momma and Daddy are ok and will come home tomorrow.....300 dollars for a window for the van and the kids know pig slapper is in my hand for the next crisis....Bummer you can explain a pig slapper

What my children should have done was get their leads, (black wand) and practice their herdmanship skill with the pigs and they wouldn't of had any problems with getting them in the pig pen.

At the 4-H fair 4-Her's are judged on how well they are able to herd the pigs in the pen at the auction.

and it continues...just got a call from my kids grandma their bio Dad was found dead last nite they believe from an overdose.......so will be making a trip to ponca city next week.....
