Leaving early in the morning
The next 24 hour will be a busy time.

I leave shortly to take my son to the medical center in Wichita, he will have an EEG. Cody is 10, he has autism and sensory dysfunction.
Having this type of test done is very trramatic for Cody.

And I check in at the hospital at 6:30 in the morning for carpal tunel surgery. I am told the doctor has scheduled 45 minutes for the surgery.

If I have time I may be on the forum this evening but will probably be off the forum for a couple of days.

Take care and don't over do it. You may need to type one handed for awhile, depending on what type of procedure your doc does. Will be praying for you.

Bummer... my thoughts are with you and with your son Cody. This will be very traumatic for him, but I know that you and your husband have done an excellent job of prepping him. You are trying to handle a lot at once, but if anyone can do it and come out ok, I know that you can. good luck, lots of prayers are going up for you... miss you while you are gone..love Red

RE: Leaving early in the morning
We are back home from having the EEG. The test did show seizure activity, mild complex partial. My son was exhausted and slept thru most of the EEG.

This was the first seizure activity that has shown up on an EEG in several years, the good news is the the activity is mild and medications will not be changed.
