Oncall, I am in agreement with the posters here who urge you to do whatever you can to get that second opinion .....and also research other types of scans that may show tissue damage that MRI's may not? Good luck.

thanks for all the advice,please keep it coming.the wc drs say they dont see anything so they dont think anything is wrong.i tried to get wc to get more test or sencond opinion and they denied it.they are getting my old records from my surgury in 2004 to see someting or use it aginst me.i have a lawyer but i dont think they are pushing hard enough.i need help im getting worse cant walk straight up and have bad head aches all the time im on oxyir.the meds could be giving me a headache i dont know.i tell pain management that what i take isnt enough they wont change or nothing just said take 1 more .what is best for chronic pain?

There is no 1 med that is best for chronic pain, due to meds react different to people. I was on vicodin and oxxy but really once your used to them "in my oppinion" they dont have the power anymore. But now that I have been off them ecxept for celebrex, I find now if I take a vicodin and only when I cant take the agony anymore I do get relief.

There are many on here that can give a better description on narcotic drug use and how it effects you.
I hope you get it figured out, but out of all my meds tylenol was best for me for headaches.

well today i went to the wc dr and he said he couldnt find anything wrong,also he has done injections meds.he said i was at mmi.what will happen now,he said he knows i hurt but he cant help me.he released me with no restrictions.....my lawyers said go back to work.how can i work i can hardly walk?also i got a letter back in april from cobra that i was not employed at my work.so in reality i dont have a job.my lawyer says that they told them i havent been let go.but i do know one thing i have been replaced.i work a large service area and the company is in michigan im in tennessee.so if i cant go back will i still get ttd payments ?

Go back to work you must...or you'll be deemed non compliant with WC....and the money will promptly be cut off.
If/when you go back to work, you must try to work, so give it your best attempt...if it gets so bad you simply cannot do it....ask to go to ER or doctor asap!
Then it's back in thier ballpark again.
