industrual commission?
my husband fell off a bardge in nov. of 99 in indidana. he reported it to his supervisor but was given 'light' duty instead of wc. as a result of the three compression fractures in his back, he's in constant pain, has had one back surgery (spinal fusion) and has been told he has to have a second one but we no longer have regular insurance or the cash to pay out of pocket for this second surgery.
now that's just the backstory. i resently finished pre-lisencing school for property and casualty insurance in NC where we now live. during that course i found out about the industrial commission that deals with 'disputes' about wc. i've tried to find the website for the one in indiana, and haven't been able to. where would i find contact information for this commission? since it happened in indiana we have to 'file' it with the indiana commission. tia |

RE: industrual commission?
only if it's covered by state work comp insurance.
Barge work sounds like US L& H. here's the link for state http://www.in.gov/wcb/ here's the federal L&H http://www.dol.gov/esa/owcp/dlhwc/index.htm |
