RE: tapeing
"get your info right?"
do you have memory problems? is your case litigated? you can get a copy of the chart notes or the medical report. |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: tapeing
I always tape record my doctor appointments.
But I am hearing impaired and by recording is because I often miss vital information due to the lack of hearing. When I get home I replay the tape and listen, many times I take notes. I don't do this for legal reason, and I always ask the doctor for their permission and explain why I am recording the appointment. |

RE: tapeing
Here in WA state it is illegal tape recording unless all parties agree to it.
That's why my daughter attanded some of my IME visits and recorded everything in writing. Kat |

RE: tapeing
I am allowed to tape record due to my hearing disability as it is allowed under ADA.

RE: tapeing
Write your issues out, and hand it to them for now on. It's that simple. Save a copy of these writings.

RE: tapeing
Cycler
If you are asking me. WIth the back ground noise in doctor's offices I miss to many words in a conversation. I play the tape back and realize how much I miss of what the doctor is explaining to me. It really does make a difference in my treatment if I understand the treatment plan. I also have carpal tunnel and have trouble writing more then one or two words. |
