i saw dr today, he is lifting my restrictions. so tomorrow i start at 6am hopefully it is my normal job, not other crappy jobs that they have been giving me. i still have nerve pain in foot but he gave me a cortisone shot and said it should help. he also changed my meds from mobic to voltaren.......although i think the mobic works well and will finish it b4 i switch.

i want to, but not sure if i can. will try it though, dr said if it is too much he will put me back light duty. i want to build furniture again, not sweep the floor or shuffle paperwork.

well i made it through the day. i built my first piece of furniture since sept, it felt good. my ankle/foot felt not too bad. it is tired and sore but tolerable. thanks jayne, tuffy, lilly, and still for the well wishes Smile

Glad to hear you made it through, hope your pain dont get in the way. Hopefully you will be able to rest it so you can remain working. I was happy as all heck when I was able to go back, also worried if I was going to be able to do it. My employer has to be 1 of the best out there they wanted me to just take my time and be safe. I did hurt badly at first but was able to rest up when not working. I do have other issues now but will keep pounding away cause god It was to long sitting on my @zz.

I really do mean this ---- I give all of yous credit that are injured and have to sit out your healing or for any reason just not being able to work. It just drove me insane and just wanted some kind of purpose even a hoby. It is just to darn hard sitting and watching life pass youp by.
