RE: i killed bambi, sorry!
badboy, that was too funny,my daughter's boyfriend already popped out the dent it was probably a good thing that I hit it dead center, the more I think about it, I think because it hit so low on my car I think it had been hit already and was crawling across the road.So I just finished the job, I also ran over it.I think I am ok just stiff,my back hurts some.I couldn't afford my deductable right now. so I think I will just take it easy for a couple of days and take some happy pills.Prescription of course.Hey guys that was my first deer kill.Yeah I think if I had swerved I would have crashed. Now that would have been bad.Thank you guys,I liked reading all your deer stories.

no matter where you're at there you are

Halftrak

I've lived in the country for most of my life and have never hit a deer, nor has any member of my family. I do see them everyday when traveling.

We have deer whistles on our vehicles.

RE: i killed bambi, sorry!
My daughter hit 2 deer with her van and one of those time she was pregnant. Where she used to live, she would have to go over the mountain to go to work. The one time was so bad, they had to replace the hood, headlight assembly, radiator and pull out dents to the front quarter panel. I was just glad she was'nt hurt. When she finally got to work that day (in a hospital), an amblance came in with a patient and the front of the ambulance was messed up, he hit a deer close to where she did, but was going much faster, he could'nt stop to check on it due to the patient he was carrying.

I only hit one many years ago in Pa. I was more worried about the deer (which ran off) than the car. I was lucky, only minor front corner damage. Everyone becarefull, you ussually don't see them coming.

Love
Vickie
