Leavin for Vegas
Tomorrow my husband and I will take a short vacation to Las Vegas.

We are going with my brother-in-law and his wife, I believe the guys are calling this a business trip because they are taking their golf clubs.

Been busy working on the summer program for disabled children,
yesterday I hired 2 speech pathologist, and 5 certified teachers
for summer staff. The program will serve 70 children this summer.

I am ready for the vacation.

Thanks Vickie

Hubby got a room located near the casino to cut down on the walking.

I rented a scooter last time I was in Vegas, may do so again this time.

RE: Leavin for Vegas
We got back home this afternoon.

It was a fun 3 days in Vegas, hubby took his golf clubs and played te course with his brother, and business associates. This was a country club and the course manager said few Las Vegas residents play the course. Hubby said the course had few people on it.

While hubby golfed I walked & played the casinos on Freamont Street. The town is celebrating the summer of 69 on Freamont Street with a street partys everynight.
Yesterday I watched the mayor, tv & radio personalitys, announce the the summer of 69 celebration, news crews were present filming the event. The band "The Who" is to preform at one of the outside stages tonight on Freamont Street.

Last night we had dinner at the Palm Resturant on the strip. One of the business associates has family from Vegas that ate with us. Our friends (business associate) nephew an actor from Califorina ate with us. His name is Charlie and he has a part in the new Eddie Murphy movie.

I am paying the price for being on my feet, using pain patches and relaxing today.
