PTSD
I was injured during a drive by shooting at work, I fell and injured my hip, back and chest muscles, this made my Fibromyalgia flare up the worst it has in years. The real problem is the PTSD , I am having panic and anixity attacks all the time, I panic when I think about having to be around people.
My employer let me go 2 weeks after the shooting, What is the chance of WC in Florida, making a settlement or declaring me disabled on the PTSD and the injuries to my body that have caused a condition I have had for a long time to get much worse.

I have received checks each week, since I was hurt.

RE: PTSD
Since 2003 the law in Florida only attributes a 1% permanent impairment rating for mental injury.

440.093(3) Subject to the payment of permanent benefits under s. 440.15, in no event shall temporary benefits for a compensable mental or nervous injury be paid for more than 6 months after the date of maximum medical improvement for the injured employee's physical injury or injuries, which shall be included in the period of 104 weeks as provided in s. 440.15(2) and (4). mental or nervous injuries are compensable only in accordance with the terms of this section

I'm not sure you'll be able to get permanent disability based on mental injury. I haven't really followed any case law that pertains to this or heard anything about this particular statute being overturned in court. Any permanent disability may have to be based on your physical injuries.
