RE: Vicodin & Opium based medications
Thanks for the Link UA!!Wink It's Amazing how a Body can Adjust and Heighten it's Own Threshold for Pain, I know Mine Has. When I had My Ear Surgery Last May, My Right Ear was Actually Removed from My Head, and they had to take Skin from My Scalp and Graft Me a New Outer Ear Canal. After the Surgery, and while Recovering, I didn't have to Take ONE more Pain Pill than I was Taking, it was like My Meds. just Reacted and Helped the Pain from My Surgery!! I did have a Couple of Bad Days, but I didn't Add to My Normal Pain and Anti-Inflammatory Meds., and I made it through O.K.! My PM Dr. is a Big Proponent for Acupuncture, PT, and Mind Over Matter Pain Control, but also knows when Someone like Myself, could not Make it without the Help of the Opiates! As She puts it, I Chemically Walk Right Now, if My Meds. were taken from Me, I would be Bedridden!! I am Hoping to have a Couple of Years Left before I have to Rely on the Wheelchair Daily, but I Fear I May not get those Extra Days. Thanks Again, I will Read Your Link when I can, and let You know what I think!!Wink

Thanks Bad Boy, I just wanted to Make Sure I was thinking Correctly!!Smile
