another ime dr to see
so over the course of the year i have been to the ins comp ime 4 times all four times he has agreed with my dr. so after my last hearing the ins comp has decided to send me to another ime tom morning i go,now doesnt this sound like they are fishing for an opinion? they have me going to an orthopedic surgeon i dont know why i have a cervical problem i dont know why they are doing this? as i have been told before when it comes down to it its my dr opinion that matters,then why do they waste their money? i know it says that the ime may reduce,suspend,or terminate payments makes no sense seeing i am in an appeal waiting now and havent been paid since feb.

What that means is, as of last week, you were waiting to see if they applied for an appeal. Since they would need something new to file an appeal, they didn't have it. By bringing on the IME on the last day instead, it just might give them more time limit for the appeal.

ok that would make sense today at the end of the day is their last chance to file my apt with the ime is today at 1140.now there is no way they get a report from this by today,its just funny yesterday was really the 30th day but i was told because it was a weekend they get today which is crazy to me but thats how it is i guess.this time they are gonna try an orthopedic surgeon,do i talk to him about the spurring i have i think maybe if they remove them this could help? as far as having something new to appeal they dont thats why none of this makes sense , i just hope they dont do so by tonight. once again ty for all your help

Somehow, I think you could be a little wrong in the way your thinking.
What I'm saying, is this new IME, could possibly by them an advance time to file an Appeal. If this IME states different from other doctor's, then that will give them something new to allow an Appeal. It doesn't mean the IME report will be at anyones door at a certain time. It means the IME can give them a verbal statement, while they wait for a written report. The verbal gives them what they would need. Also, the 30 days they had, all weekends and holidays do not count in the 30 days. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. i just got back from my ime that was all of 6 mins for the exam i dont really know what that was all about but it was a waste of time and i dont see him saying any differnt from all the other dr but who knows,so what you are saying is they can call and ask what he thought but i have to wait ten days for a report ? its all fitting how i had the apt and this is the last day they have to appeal,guess i just sit on my hands
