i am in pa here had posted here before.i had recieved a certified letter in the mail today.stating i have to return to work.i had an asthma attack at work they took me to the er.er told me too follow up with doc .i did comp sends me to a specialist the specialist will not clear me too go back to that job.it was there specialist that told me no.wc is going by what they got from the er.all the er says was that i have chemical pneumonitis 3 rad.my lawyer tells me to sit tight.i have a pft test may1.from comp.what do i do

Your employer can not tell you or force you to return to work , Only the Dr can release you to do so. Listen to your attorney, that is what he gets paid the big bucks for. LOL.................... It dosen't matter if a cert letter or in person and knocking on your door. Let your attorney handle it, Welcome and good luck.

Do what you lawyer tells you to but be ready. If you are gettin WC they may stop paying you and your lawyer will have to deal with it. It's not right but that is one of the games they play. One of the guys I worked with was forced back to work and his doctor would not release him, but it was go back in and get paid or stay home and get nothing for a time. Sucks but it can happen. Hope things work out okay for you
