Finally, Some Great News

I wanted to share with all of you that I will be the proud grandmother of a baby boy. It was confirmed yesterday when they did the ultra sound and her due date is set for Sept. 14 -Sept. 16. I was to sick to be able to attend the viewing of the ultra sound but Kailey emailed the pics to me. There is no mistake......this one is a boy!

I am still ill with this flu and running fever. I am going to the doctor this afternoon and I'm sure he will give me an injection for this mess. I still have to get through my friends burial. It is tomorrow and they have asked me to speak at her services. I was so honored to be asked to do this. When her daughter asked me, I said yes I will and I will not need a paper in front of me. I am going to speak about her, the person she was and next, the friend that she was. Don't need a paper for that because it is all contained in my heart so that is where I will be speaking from. God, please pray that the injection I get today will have me feeling better or else I don't know how I will make my best friends funeral. The fever has me doing nothing but sleeping and I just have no energy for anything right now.

Congrats on the new grandson MJC. I do help the Dr. gives you something to kick this flu in the butt. You have had this for too long already. It is sweet that you'll be speaking at your friends funeral, the best speeches come from the heart and you have a huge one. Good luck sweety and get well soon.

MJC- sorry you are still sick, hope the doctor can give you something to help. Know that the words that come from your heart will mean alot to your friend's family and she will aways remain within your heart and the love you had will always be there.

That is great news about the new grandson. I will find out next month (if the baby cooperates) what my daughter will be having. Her ultrasound is scheduled for the 12th of May. I didn't realize though, that we were both to become Grannies about the same time. Bri is due the 16th of September as well.

When I go and pick up my youngest the first of June, will be going up to see Bri, then she will lead me to her brothers' house in Dearborn Heights, as she has been there. She has scheduled a special ultrasound there.. it is a 3-D one, and myself as well as her 2 brothers will be there to see that one in person. We will also each get a CD movie of the ultrasound. I am so excited.

I hope that your Dr is able to give you something that will get you through your friends funeral tomorrow. I bet a lot of the reason it is hanging on is because all of the stress you have been under the past months. Seems that is when illness strikes us hardest. I will continue to pray for your return to good health.
