I know in My State, Pa., that's not allowed. You May want to Contact Your Attorney if You have One, if not, Maybe Contact Either w/c or the Unemployment Office just to be Sure! If You continue to get these Double Payments, sooner or Later they will Find Out, and Someone will want Re-Paid Possibly! It's Best to be Safe from the Beginning, to Save Trouble Later. Best of Luck!Wink

RE: unelopment
IIB's are an entitlement and are not considered wages. The Administrative rules say:

69L-3.01925 Impairment Income Benefits (Dates of Accident on or After October 1, 2003.

(1) The initial payment of impairment income benefits shall include payment for all full weeks of entitlement since the date of maximum medical improvement up to the time the initial payment is made. After the employee has reached maximum medical improvement, the claims-handling entity shall make the initial payment of impairment income benefits no later than the 14th day after the claims-handling entity has knowledge of the employee’s permanent impairment rating. (2) Impairment income benefits shall be paid in biweekly installments pursuant to Sections 440.15(3)© and (g), F.S. (2003). (3) Impairment income benefits may not be offset by social security or unemployment compensation benefits received by the employee.

You are able to collect unemployment and IIBs. Smile

RE: unelopment
I have been unemployed for alittle over a month now and have to call in on every Sunday in order to receive a check deposited into my account every week. I have to answer 3 questions and one of them is : Do I , or have I worked ,or had any other source of income that week? If so hit # 9 , etc. etc.

So, just to let you know that everything has to be reported truthfully to unemployment that you are collecting something no matter what it is.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

RE: unelopment
The Best thing to do is Call Your Local Unemployment Office and Ask. You haven't Cashed Their Check Yet, so You've Done Nothing Wrong! If Kate is Correct, as it Sounds as They are that's Great, but if Your Worried a Simple Phone Call will Clear it All Up! Best of Luck, and Please let Us know what You Find Out!!Wink
